BREAKING!! All Deputy Inspector Of Police To Be SACKED As BUHARI Appoints Adamu Mohammed As The New IGP

President Buhari will on Tuesday announce the appointment of AIG Adamu Mohammed as the acting Inspector General of Police (IGP), and His elevation means that all Deputy Inspectors-General will retire from service.

According to DAILY POST, Mohammed, an indigene of Nasarawa state, will take over from outgoing IGP, Ibrahim Idris.

A presidency source had earlier confirmed to NAN that President Muhammadu Buhari had zeroed in on the senior officer.

Mohammed had served as the Commissioner Of Police in Enugu State. He was one time director of peacekeeping operations of the Force.

He is currently the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone Five, in Benin, Edo State.

Mohammed is also a directing staff member at the National Institute of policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru, near Jos, Plateau State.

He was born on November 9, 1961 and enlisted in the police in 1986.

Mohammed, who has a bachelor in geography, is married with children.
