Despite Nigerians celebrating the arrival of a new year, the last one week has actually been a torrid time in the nation’s history after the death of Second Republic President, Shehu Shagari, now another tragedy has befall Nigeria following the death of former Kano State Governor.
A former governor of Kano State, Hamza Abdullahi, is dead. He died in a German Hospital after a brief illness. He was 74. Hadejia Emirate Council spokesperson, Talaki Mohammad, confirmed his death to journalists on Thursday. Mr Abdullahi was governor of old Kano State from January 1984 to August 1985 during the military regime of Muhammadu Buhari.
